Q & A
-
I love when guests notice the small details. We put so much thought into those subtle touches that elevate comfort, style, and our commitment to supporting local. So, when someone takes the time to mention them, it really makes my day.
I also love when guests call out our team members by name. Our staff truly are the best, and being able to share those compliments with them means a lot- it’s such a great way to recognize the incredible work they do every day.

Probably “yes”. Ha!
We really try to support everyone’s ideas and goals, and sometimes that means throwing a lot at the wall to see what sticks.
The result is a ton of fun, a team that feels genuinely supported, and (hopefully) exciting new things for our community and guests to try, see, and experience.
It also means I spend a lot of time shaking my head at our bank statement and we’ve basically got a storage facility’s worth of costumes, props, and event materials… but eh, who’s counting.

Anyone who’s stayed with us knows I like to sneak in early and help serve breakfast. In fact, we’ve had returning guests who genuinely think I’m part of the breakfast team.
I do have an office… but if I sit in it, I miss out on the best part of this job — the people. So most days, you’ll find me posted up in the restaurant, pouring coffee, lending a hand, and getting to meet the guests who stay and dine with us.
I love this industry because of the connections, and those simple morning chats over a fresh cup of coffee really fill my cup.
