Raised in the heart of the restaurant industry, Ben Giffin was immersed in hospitality from an early age through his family’s involvement in two well-known restaurant franchises. He began his career front-of-house as a server but quickly set his sights on the kitchen, determined to prove his capabilities behind the line. Five years and countless hours later, his drive and dedication have earned him the role of Sous Chef. Today, Ben plays a key role in the Boomstick Alehouse kitchen, where he’s found not just a team, but a second family. With a growing family of his own and a deepening connection to the community, Ben is proud to call Corner Brook home.
